A view from the Golden cross, the old cathedral to the left, the curve of a cobble street down the centre, St. Mary Guildhall and the medieval cottage to the right, it’s no wander that Bayley Lane is so well photographed. Neil Catley, who runs Confidence Through photography, a group on Facebook, has felt a magnetic draw to the Lane for years.
Neil says; “I love the leading lines but it the atmosphere of the lane itself I feel In awe and still think I haven’t got THAT shot yet!”
“Confidence through Photography” is a group of people who focus on the use of photos to improve their mental health. It’s about peer support, both online and in meet ups. Neil makes it clear that it’s about photos, not equipment.
I have a huge obsession with the cathedral Quarter especially Bayley Lane

Three years ago I started up a peer support group confidence through photography helping adults with anxiety and mental health issues gain confidence through a creative outlet I absolutely love running the group and to teach photography.”
